Heatsavr or Ecosavr?
Ecosavr™ has all of the benefits of Heatsavr, but was developed for smaller private residential pools of up to 40 meters square. Simply snip the fin, and throw it in, and it will help to maintain the heat of your pool for approximately one month.
Once in the water, the fish will begin to release Heatsavr and form a mono molecular layer to create a barrier between the water and the air, immediately reducing evaporation.

Benefits & advantages with indoor pools
As with outdoor swimming pools, the biggest benefit of using Heatsavr with indoor pools is the remarkable reduction in pool energy costs. With indoor pools, this has been proven to realise savings of up to 50%. As well as saving money on pool heating, water consumption and chemical bills, you will also see a reduction in the associative costs of dehumidification and heating air within the pool area.
When an indoor pool is closed for the evening, the air temperature of the pool area is usually kept at 1°C above the temperature of the pool, to reduce evaporation and therefore retain pool heat.
When Heatsavr is applied, the air temperature can be reduced by as much as 6°C, because Heatsavr is taking care of controlling the evaporative loss of heat and water. This means that you spend less money heating the air in the pool area, and because the humidity is lower due to reduced evaporation, your dehumidification plant does not have to work so hard, again reducing costs.
